Chanced at a glance
Chanced, from Gold Coin Group, has a modern crypto-style lobby built around Hacksaw, Playson and BGaming. Unusually, it currently has no no-purchase welcome. Its offer is a first-purchase bonus of up to 70 SC.
The operator is Gold Coin Group LLC. The lobby lists 1,500+ games, with titles from Hacksaw Gaming, Playson, BGaming. It runs on the standard US sweepstakes model with two currencies: Gold Coins (GC) for pure entertainment play and Sweeps Coins (SC), which can be redeemed for prizes once you've played them through.
Welcome offer and free coins
Open a new Chanced account and you get No no-purchase welcome currently offered, without spending anything. We couldn't confirm a current daily login reward in the official rules, so check the promotions tab once you're signed in. The free mail-in (AMOE) amount isn't stated in the sources we reviewed. The official sweepstakes rules on the site set out the current postal entry process.
Optional coin packages come with extra free Sweeps Coins (SC). The first-purchase offer is up to 70 SC on first purchase. Buying is never required, and it doesn't change your odds. Any Sweeps Coins included with a package are a promotional bonus, not something you're paying for.
How sweepstakes play works at Chanced
Each game has a switch between two modes. In Gold Coins (GC) mode you're playing purely for entertainment and nothing you win can be cashed out. In Sweeps Coins (SC) mode, wins are counted toward prizes. US promotions law makes that possible because the prize currency is always available free, which is why every legitimate sweepstakes casino offers a mail-in entry.
Playthrough: 1x (10x on SC from giveaways or bonus codes). In practice, each prize coin must be wagered at least the stated number of times before it becomes redeemable. Chanced applies a much higher 10x requirement to coins from giveaways or bonus codes, so check which balance a coin came from.
Redemptions: minimums, speed and payment methods
This is the section we weight most heavily (30% of the score), because it's where sweepstakes casinos really differ. At Chanced: Cash from $100 (100 SC). We couldn't confirm a gift-card option or its minimum. The full list of payout methods isn't stated in our sources.
Verification (KYC): ID verification; Reddit reports locked accounts during review. Every US sweepstakes operator has to confirm your identity, age and location before paying a prize, usually with a photo ID, a selfie and sometimes proof of address. Our advice is the same everywhere. Complete verification right after you sign up, use the same name as your bank account, and redeem to a method in your own name. Our redemptions subscore for Chanced is 3.6/5.
Games and software
Chanced offers 1,500+ games. Notable studios include Hacksaw Gaming, Playson, BGaming. Live dealers: not stated. Slots make up most of the library, as at nearly every sweepstakes casino. Table games and live shows, where offered, play in the same two coin modes. We score games on the size and quality of the library, studio variety, and whether live tables or originals add something extra. Chanced scores 4.3/5.
Where you can play, apps and age limits
Minimum age: not stated in our sources, so check the terms (most US sweepstakes casinos require 18+, and some states 21+). Apps: iOS and Android apps. State rules are changing fast. California, Connecticut, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, New Jersey, New York and Tennessee have banned sweepstakes casinos by statute, Oklahoma's ban takes effect on November 1, 2026, and operators sometimes leave a state with little notice. Always read the eligibility section of the current sweepstakes rules before you sign up. Availability and apps score 4.1/5.
More context on Chanced
Chanced's lack of a no-purchase welcome makes it unusual on our list. Every other casino here gives at least 1 SC free at sign-up. The free route still exists, as US promotions law requires, through the alternative method of entry in its official rules, but we couldn't confirm the mail-in amount.
Chanced pairs well-rated apps (Android 4.6, iOS 4.44) with a 1,500-plus game lobby built on Hacksaw, Playson and BGaming. Its first-purchase bonus of up to 70 SC is aimed at players who already know they'll buy. That trade-off, a strong product with weak free value, is reflected in its 2.8 bonus subscore, the lowest in our ranking.
Tips for playing Chanced
- There's no free welcome right now, so don't sign up expecting starter SC.
- Watch which coins carry 10x playthrough. SC from giveaways and bonus codes do, while standard SC are 1x.
- Use the well-rated Android app (4.6) or iOS app (4.44).
- If you also have a Punt account, remember the two brands are linked, and Reddit reports issues that affected both.

Treat review sites with care. Sweepstakes casinos actively ask happy players for reviews, and angry players are more likely to post after a loss. That's why we weight the patterns (the same complaint repeated across sites) more than the average score. The user sentiment subscore for Chanced is 4.1/5.
