Funrize at a glance
Funrize renames everything. You play with Tournament Coins and Promotional Entries instead of Gold and Sweeps Coins, and the lobby is built around slot and fish-game tournaments. It's run by A1 Development, the company behind NoLimitCoins and Fortune Wheelz.
The operator is A1 Development LLC (also NoLimitCoins, Fortune Wheelz). The lobby lists 1,000+ (slots and fish games; no tables) games. It runs on the standard US sweepstakes model with two currencies: Tournament Coins (TC) for pure entertainment play and Promotional Entries (PE), which can be redeemed for prizes once you've played them through.
Welcome offer and free coins
Open a new Funrize account and you get 125,000 TC (per the site), without spending anything. We couldn't confirm a current daily login reward in the official rules, so check the promotions tab once you're signed in. The free mail-in (AMOE) amount isn't stated in the sources we reviewed. The official sweepstakes rules on the site set out the current postal entry process.
Funrize sells optional Gold Coin packages with bonus Promotional Entries (PE) on top. We didn't record a verified first-purchase deal, so we'd treat any banner offer as subject to the terms shown at checkout. Buying is never required, and it doesn't change your odds of winning.
How sweepstakes play works at Funrize
Each game has a switch between two modes. In Tournament Coins (TC) mode you're playing purely for entertainment and nothing you win can be cashed out. In Promotional Entries (PE) mode, wins are counted toward prizes. US promotions law makes that possible because the prize currency is always available free, which is why every legitimate sweepstakes casino offers a mail-in entry.
Playthrough: 1x on PE; KYC and a prior purchase are required to redeem. In practice, each prize coin must be wagered at least the stated number of times before it becomes redeemable. Funrize adds a twist: you must have made at least one purchase and passed KYC before any Promotional Entries can be redeemed.
Redemptions: minimums, speed and payment methods
This is the section we weight most heavily (30% of the score), because it's where sweepstakes casinos really differ. At Funrize: Cash from 100 PE (4–10 days). Gift cards: gift cards from 25 PE (about 24 h). Payment rails: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay, bank. Limits to know: Free-play winnings capped at $25 (reported).
Verification (KYC): KYC plus a prior purchase before any redemption. Every US sweepstakes operator has to confirm your identity, age and location before paying a prize, usually with a photo ID, a selfie and sometimes proof of address. Our advice is the same everywhere. Complete verification right after you sign up, use the same name as your bank account, and redeem to a method in your own name. Our redemptions subscore for Funrize is 3.0/5.
Games and software
Funrize offers 1,000+ (slots and fish games; no tables) games. The provider list isn't published in a form we could verify. Live dealers: No. Slots make up most of the library, as at nearly every sweepstakes casino. Table games and live shows, where offered, play in the same two coin modes. We score games on the size and quality of the library, studio variety, and whether live tables or originals add something extra. Funrize scores 3.6/5.
Where you can play, apps and age limits
Minimum age: not stated in our sources, so check the terms (most US sweepstakes casinos require 18+, and some states 21+). Apps: Android app (iOS listing unclear). State rules are changing fast. California, Connecticut, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, New Jersey, New York and Tennessee have banned sweepstakes casinos by statute, Oklahoma's ban takes effect on November 1, 2026, and operators sometimes leave a state with little notice. Always read the eligibility section of the current sweepstakes rules before you sign up. Availability and apps score 3.8/5.

- Lower your bet before switching games. One reviewer reports a fish game jumping to max bet.

Treat review sites with care. Sweepstakes casinos actively ask happy players for reviews, and angry players are more likely to post after a loss. That's why we weight the patterns (the same complaint repeated across sites) more than the average score. The user sentiment subscore for Funrize is 3.8/5.

Bottom line
The prior-purchase rule for redemptions undercuts the idea of free play. Funrize is fine for tournament entertainment, but weak if prizes are your goal.
